Sheryl and I have been married for Forty years and have spent those years in the high valley mountain town of Alamosa, Colorado. Sheryl is the Ill clerk at the local city library and I am a retired high school Social Studies Teacher. In 1998 when I was thinking of retiring Sheryl bought me a scroll saw and the rest is history. Neither of us were artists and we never dreamed that we would start a second career as artists. Self taught we have done 12 to 16 shows a year and have our art in 20 countries and all fifty states. We have sold on ebay and in galleries but we are still learning the craft and hopefully will for many years to come. We work in acrylics with wood, canvas and slate. We paint folk art, fine art, and many things that full within several schools of art. We believe that art should be available to a wide variety of people and have tried to keep our prices at a level that allows this to take place.
We will also publish a calendar of our shows and invite you to join us in Taos, Santa Fe, or Southern Colorado.
We also are providing several links to pattern sites and suppliers for those of you that enjoy participating in woodart or painting. We will also include pages by artists that we admire and enjoy.
Have a great day and enjoy the beauty that is art and life.
